What’s New in The Potter’s Mud Room: iOS Update, Website Progress & More

Hi Mud Room Community, I wanted to share an update with everyone — both our free and paid members — about what’s happening with The Potter’s Mud Room and where things stand with the latest updates. ## The New iOS Update Is Live! 🎉 If you use The Potter’s Mud Room on an iPhone or iPad, please head to the App Store and make sure you’ve updated to the latest version. There are quite a few new features, improvements, and bug fixes to explore, including: - **Test Tile Library** — keep your glaze and clay test information organized and accessible in one place. - **My Store** — access all of your stores from within the Mud Room, making it easier to keep the business side of your pottery connected to the rest of your work. - **Updated Pricing Calculator** — improvements to help you work through pricing your handmade pottery. - **Photo Lookup** — an optional tool for finding and working with your pottery using your photos. - **Piece editing, saving & photo fixes** — several issues involving editing and saving pieces and working with photos have been corrected. - **Firing Log improvements** — fixes and improvements to make tracking your firings more reliable. - **Clay photo improvements** — better support for adding and editing photos associated with your clay information. - **Public Reviews** — improvements to the review experience within the Mud Room. Plus, there are additional bug fixes and smaller improvements throughout the app. ## Come Join the Community 💜 I’d also really love for everyone to start checking out and using the **Community section**. Right now, you’ll see me in there posting and updating the forum, and that’s okay while we’re still growing. But I didn’t build the Community section just so I could talk to myself (maybe). 😂 I’d love for it to become a place where **all of us — myself included — actually connect as potters**. Share what you’re working on. Ask a question. Talk about a glaze or clay body. Share something that worked, something that absolutely did not work, or just come say hello. The Mud Room was always meant to be more than a place to keep records. I want it to become a genuine pottery community, and that only happens when we start using it together. ## Website Update I’m still actively testing the updated Mud Room website and working through the new features and bug fixes. My **goal is to have the website work completed by the end of next week**, but I want to be transparent that I honestly can’t promise a specific date. I would rather take a little longer and make sure everything is working properly than rush an update just to meet a deadline. ## Android / Google Play Update For my Android members, I also owe you an update. **I have not started the Google Play app updates yet, and I apologize for the delay.** I’m concentrating on getting the website finished and tested first. Once that work is complete, I’ll move on to bringing the Google Play version up to date with the new features, improvements, and bug fixes. I know Android users have been waiting, and I truly appreciate your patience while I work through each platform. Thank you for being part of The Potter’s Mud Room — whether you joined for free, became a paid member, have been here from the beginning, or just recently found us.
